Want luscious, silky, moisturized hair? Try this all-natural mixture featuring unrefined shea butter. What you'll need: -1/2 cup of unrefined shea butter -1/3 cup of natural oils of your choice (NOTE: In the video, I mixed the following oils: Vatika Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil) -2-3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel -1 tablespoon of vegetable oil -a mixer -measuring cups -a bowl for mixing -a container to store the mixture when you're done! How to make this mixture: 1. Put a pot of water on the stove (medium/high) for about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat just before the water starts to boil. 2. Pour some of the water in a bowl and sit 1/2 cup of shea butter inside the bowl. Let it sit there for a few minutes until it's soft and halfway melted. 3. Pour the shea butter and 1/3 cup of natural oils in a bowl and mix for approximately 10 minutes. 4. Add 2-3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel and 1 tablespoon of vegetable gycerin. Mix for approximately 5 minutes. 5. Add 10 drops of Tea Tree Oil. This is a very important step! You want to preserve the mixture so that it has a longer shelf-life. 6. Add a few drops of any essential oil for scent (optional). 7. Mix for another 5 minutes. 8. Let the mixture sit for a couple hours. It will thicken over time. 9. Store the mixture in a covered container. 10. Enjoy moisturized hair!!! *NOTE: This video was inspired by NappyNFree. Check out her video here: www.youtube.com
